Lisa Bromley-Parker currently serves as both our Preschool Director, and teacher in the Two-Year-Old Class and Three-Year-Old Class. Lisa brings years of experience and dedication to our school; she has been teaching at First. Pres. Preschool for over 20 years. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Skidmore College and is certified Preschool through 6th Grade. Lisa loves spending one on one time with her students and watching them grow and learn. During her time away from school, Lisa loves watching football, hockey, and basketball. 

Sara O’Connor is a Teacher in the Two-Year-Old classroom. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology. She lives in Queensbury with her two daughters, her husband, as well as her dog Bodie. Her family enjoys spending time together doing outdoor activities such as swimming, hiking, skiing, and participating in holiday activities. 

Sarah Spitzer has been teaching PE class here at First Pres. for more than 20 years. She has a Master’s Degree in Sport and Fitness Management. Both of her children, now grown, attended our preschool.

Meaghan Taylor is a Teacher in the 3-day Three-Year-Old classroom. She has a Bachelors degree in English Writing with a minor in European Studies. She lives in Queensbury with her two daughters (who both attended First Presbyterian Preschool), her husband (also a FPP alum), as well as her rambunctious puppy. 

Jessica Tracy is a Teacher in the 3-day Three-Year-Old classroom. She holds a Master’s Degree in Communications from Ithaca College and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from St. Lawrence University. Jess lives in Queensbury with her husband, two kids (one a First Pres. alum and the other a current student), and her dog. When she’s not at school, you can find Jess reading, crocheting, birdwatching, baking sourdough, tending her little free library, and exploring the outdoors with her family. She loves to bike, ski, run, hike, paddle, and camp, and is always up for an adventure.

Molly Hyde is a Teacher in the 3-day Three-Year-Old classroom. She lives in Glens Falls with her two sons (one a First Pres. alum and the other a current student). Her family cares for two bunnies, and enjoys riding bikes, exploring the outdoors, fishing and hiking. Molly also enjoys doing pottery in her spare time.

Sarah Hall is teaching our PreK students this year! She has been working with children of all ages for over 15 years and is so excited to be joining the staff at First Presbyterian Preschool! Her favorite children’s authors are Mo Willems, David Shannon, and Glens Falls’ own, Mary DeSantis! She was born and raised in Glens Falls and loves this community. She is ready to have an excellent year with our wonderful students!

Jenna Doster is one of our Pre-K teachers. She studied at Hudson Valley Community College. Before moving to Queensbury to start her family, she worked as a UPK teacher where her love for play based preschool grew! Jenna has a husband who is a First Pres. Preschool alumni, and two children who have also gone through our programs. Jenna enjoys reading, crafting, singing and being silly with her children.

Angela Thompson is excited to join the preschool team as an Assistant Teacher in the Pre-K classroom! She has several years of preschool teaching experience, including serving as a lead teacher, co-teacher, and substitute teacher in Cincinnati and Lubbock, Texas. She holds an Associate Degree in Women’s and Children’s Ministry and currently serves as the Children’s Director at her church in Halfmoon, NY. Originally from Alaska, she has always loved working with children and helping them learn and grow. What she loves most about children is their honesty, curiosity, and wholehearted way of loving the things and people around them. Outside of school, she loves to read and spend time with her husband and their three daughters, who are in 6th, 3rd, and 2nd grade.
