Samantha Meyer joined First Presbyterian Preschool in August of 2017 as Preschool Director. She holds a B.A. in English and a Master’s degree in Teaching. Samantha was formerly a middle school Language Arts teacher and SAT tutor before stepping away to be a full time mom for her three children, ages 12, 11, and 8. She and her family live in Lake George and she is an active member in the Lake George School District, having served as a member of the PTSO and currently as a Parent Rep on the district’s SPARC committee. Having recently been a preschool parent herself, Samantha works diligently to offer the best preschool experience for our young students and their families. Her favorite part of her job is interacting with the wonderful families at First Pres. Preschool, and when she is able to pop in to the classrooms to read to our students, or facilitate a Character Assembly. Samantha looks forward to many years of providing a wonderful first school experience for our preschoolers and their families; where they feel safe, nurtured and respected.
