Two Year Olds

Our Two year old class is a wonderful introduction to a classroom setting for children ages 24 – 36 months. We offer a positive first-time structured classroom experience in which your child has the opportunity to function as part of a group, enjoy art projects, free play, large motor activities in the “gym”, and lots of outdoor play. Our curriculum is carefully designed to meet the interest of this particular age group, and has a strong focus on the arts, literature, and music appreciation. We encourage children to dream, use their imagination, sing, and dance. Our teachers are responsive to the children’s needs and interact both individually and in small groups with the children. The ultimate goal of this program is to promote the social and emotional development of the children as well as to spark each child’s enthusiasm for participating in a group while learning.

Three Year Olds

Our Three Year Old Classes are designed to meet the needs of children with limitless energy and curiosity. We encourage the children to learn and be creative by using art, literature, music and movement.  We work daily on gross and fine motor skills through playing games, creating artwork, as well as enjoying indoor and outdoor play. As the children become ready, we begin to work on letter recognition and formation, as well as introductory math concepts. A major part of the 3 year old classroom curriculum is expanding vocabulary and increasing the use of articulate verbal expression. Sharing, playing cooperatively, and being aware of each other’s needs are also stressed. We encourage autonomy and independance; having the children take off and put on outerwear, hang up their belongings, put mail in their backpacks, and allowing them to express their needs.

Our Time

The Our Time program is designed to provide a fun and safe social setting for children ages 12 months (walking) to 2 years. This class allows the young child an opportunity to participate in a preschool setting along with the security of having a caregiver accompany them. Under the guidance of a teacher, this unique program offers a warm and loving setting for the child to explore and develop a love of language, arts, music, and games. Our goal is to establish a positive first classroom experience which will aid in the natural progression to future educational experiences. Children are welcome to attend with parents, grandparent, or any favorite grown-up!
