Two Year Olds
Our Two year old class is a wonderful introduction to a classroom setting for children ages 24 – 36 months. We offer a positive first-time structured classroom experience in which your child has the opportunity to function as part of a group, enjoy art projects, free play, large motor activities in the “gym”, and lots of outdoor play. Our curriculum is carefully designed to meet the interest of this particular age group, and has a strong focus on the arts, literature, and music appreciation. We encourage children to dream, use their imagination, sing, and dance. Our teachers are responsive to the children’s needs and interact both individually and in small groups with the children. The ultimate goal of this program is to promote the social and emotional development of the children as well as to spark each child’s enthusiasm for learning through play.

Three Year Olds
Our Three Year Old Classes are designed to meet the needs of children with limitless energy and curiosity. We encourage the children to learn and be creative by using art, literature, music and movement. We work daily on gross and fine motor skills through playing games, creating artwork, as well as enjoying indoor and outdoor play. As the children become ready, we begin to work on letter recognition and formation, as well as introductory math concepts. A major part of the 3 year old classroom curriculum is expanding vocabulary and increasing the use of articulate verbal expression. Sharing, playing cooperatively, and being aware of each other’s needs are also stressed. We encourage autonomy and independence; having the children take off and put on outerwear, hang up their belongings, put mail in their backpacks, and allowing them to express their needs.

Pre-Kindergarten
Our Pre-Kindergarten classes are committed to providing an atmosphere that encourages growth and learning through the discovery and exploration of the things in our world. Our Pre-K teachers provide a classroom environment that encourages independence, creative expression, curiosity, and having a healthy respect for others. We strive to increase the child’s skills and enhance their ability to succeed in Kindergarten and beyond. The children have the opportunity to use their writing and pre-reading skills, perform scientific experiments and discoveries, and are exposed to art and music. We also enjoy taking field trips that enhance what is being learned in the classroom.
